Summer Language Courses for Teenagers

Our Summer language courses for teens are specially designed for young adults between the ages 14-17 to learn or improve a language abroad. Language courses take place in the morning followed by afternoon activities specially designed to promote an enjoyable and enriching learning environment.

Participants will be accompanied throughout their stay by native-speaking supervisors who are staff at our schools.

We believe that language education should be fun. Our Teens programs offer a wide variety of ways to spend free time outside of the classroom. Outdoor activities, local sightseeing, dancing or barbecues on the beach in the evening are only some of the activities provided. Our organization, course leaders and their colleagues design the activities based on local culture and availability during the busy summer months.

Beach volleyball, soccer, swimming, water skiing - even windsurfing and sailing can be enjoyed in your free time. Included in the prices are: language courses of 20 lessons per week (in groups of 12-15 students), educational materials, a course completion certificate, accommodation and board as booked, supervised tours and of course, lots of fun!

Accommodation

All the accommodation offered in our programs are high quality. However, the type of accommodation you will want depends on your personal preference.

Host Family accommodation: Staying with a family, you always have the advantage of practicing your new foreign language skills. You also will have the opportunity to experience the typical home cooking and family traditions with your guest hosts.

You will stay in a double room, shared with another student of the same program and sex. Many of our families do not live within walking distance to the school premises, and you may need to use public transportation which will be an additional cost.

Residence accommodation: A good alternative to the traditional Host family is to chose accommodation in a student residence. This option is for those students who would like to have some more independence and who want to meet international students from all over the world. You can find a variety of comforts at the residence; from twin rooms to multi-bedrooms. We are certain to have an accommodation to please your individual tastes.

Our Programs include:

Language course of 20 lessons per week (1 lesson = 45 min.), in groups of 12 - 15 students.
Accommodation in full board basis (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner) in residence or Host family. Arrival Sunday, departure Saturday.
Full-time supervision by group leaders during activities and excursions.
Return airport transfer (on specific dates).
Course material.
Certificate of attendance.
Daily leisure program.
One full day excursion every Saturday.
